Services for Mae Addy, 96, Winterset, who died Jan. 5 at the Care Center North where she resided, were held Friday, Jan. 8, at 1:30 p.m. at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Doris Kinton officiating. Burial was at the North McDonald Cemetery.

Born in Ladora on March 20, 1891, she was the daughter of Losson and Florence Busswell Myers. She married Guy R. Addy on Feb. 7, 1911 in Winterset.

A retired practical nurse, she was a lifetime resident of Madison County. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Winterset for over 60 years and active in church work. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and past noble of the Grand Rebecca Lodge.

Survivors include sons, Alex, Ray, Ralph of Boise, Idaho, Dale of Winterset, and Paul of Reno, Nev.; daughters, Mabel Westphal of Earlham, Edith Lecocq of Winterset and Blanche Niemi of Portland, Ore.; 28 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter, two sons, a grandchild, a brother and two sisters.
