WORTHINGTON-A funeral for Juanita A. Crawford, 80, of Toledo and formerly of Earlham was held Oct. 2, 1991 at the rural Worthington Methodist Church. Mrs. Crawford died of congestive heart failure on Sept. 28 at the Bethesda Care Facility at Toledo.
The daughter of Albert and Amy Black Armstrong, she was born near Earlham on May 9, 1911. She married D. H. (Pete) Crawford on March 10, 1935. She had lived most of her life in the Worthington community, where she was active in the Worthington Methodist church. She was a homemaker, retiring to Toledo in 1985. after her move, she became a member of the Tama United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband; by a son, Denny; and by a granddaughter.
Survivors include three daughters, Ruth Childers of Tama, Karen Hendrickson of Alamogordo, N.M. and Carol Curry of East Moline, Ill.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
