EARLHAM-A funeral for Kathlyn Margaret Bond, 73, of Earlham was held April 20, 1991 at the United Methodist Church here. Mrs. Bond died of a heart ailment on April 18 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center at Des Moines. Burial was at the Earlham Cemetery.
The daughter of Harry and Nellie Miller Eivins, she was born at Leon on June 17, 1917. She married Nelson O. Bond on May 16, 1937. They moved to Earlham in 1958, and she worked at the Earlham Community Schools for 22 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Earlham United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by two brothers and by one sister.
Survivors include her husband, Nelson of Earlham; a son, William of Earlham; a daughter, Dixie of Salon; and two grandchildren.
