1963EDWARD ADAMS OF WINTERSET DIES
Edward Adams, a resident of Winterset for the last six years, died Sunday, Nov. 24, at Memorial hospital here. He was 62 years of age.
Mr. Adams was born in West Des Moines on Sept. 20, 1901 a son of Charles E. and Minnie Michell Adams. He was married in Des Moines in 1925 to Verdi Fenimore, who survives him.
Mr. Adams came to Winterset six years ago from Albuquerque, N.Mex., and worked as an insurance agent here. He was member of the Christian church at Cedar Falls, Ia.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Minnie Adams of Tucson, Ariz., and a sister, Mrs. Jack Spencer of Tucson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Wilson Funeral home in charge of the Rev. John C. Porath, pastor of the First Methodist church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
