Services for Byrl Armbrest, 75, Des Moines, who died June 18 at Broadlawns Medical Center, were held Saturday, June 21, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Lautt officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Webster township on March 11, 1911, she was the son (daughter) of Richard and Margarite McIntyre Letz. She was a graduate of Winterset High, worked as a nurses aide and had lived here the past 20 years after coming from California.

She was a resident of the Commonwealth Care Center in Des Moines.

Survivors include brothers, Dale Letz of Winterset and Clarence Letz of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
