Mr. George Betts, a former citizen of our place, has been called to mourn the death of his wife. She was buried in our cemetery last Monday. Of the deceased the Des Moines Register speaks in the most feeling terms. She was a true wife and much respected by all who knew her. Mr. Betts has the sympathy of all his friends in his affliction.
