There was quite a serious accident took place here this week. A little daughter of Rev. Mr. Porter, about nine years old, caught fire at the stove and as her parents were not in the house, she used great presence of mind and ran for water, finding none in _____ ran to a slough in the field and extinguished the fire, but she was burnt so badly that she died the next day.
