FERN FLEMING Rites

Funeral services were held this Wednesday for Lillian Fern Fleming of Winterset, who died at Madison County Memorial Hospital last Sunday, July 7, 1974 at the age of 77.

Mrs. Fleming was born near Patterson on January 10, 1897, the daughter of Grant and Amanda Pomeray Willcox. She was a resident of Madison County her entire life. She was affiliated with the Christian Church.

She married Loyd Fleming at Winterset on April 4, 1914 and is survived by him. Other survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Gene (Velma) Bass of Winterset, and Mrs. James F. (Pauline) Bussanmas of Bevington; and one son, John Fleming of Winterset. Seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. this Wednesday, July 10, at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, with the Rev. Walter Samp officiating. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.
