1968LOIS CRANN, 84, BURIED MONDAY
Graveside services were held this Monday morning at the Winterset cemetery for Lois Smith Crann, former well-known school teacher of this community.
Mrs. Crann died Saturday, June 15, at Madison Manor Nursing home where she had been a patient since June of 1965. She was 84 years of age.
A daughter of James E. and Jennie Morrell Smith, she was born in Madison County on Feb. 6, 1884.
She was married to James Harry Crann in 1906, who preceded her in death in 1931. She is survived by a foster son, Don Hutchings.
She was a member of the Methodist church of Wheatridge, Colo.
Officiating at the graveside service Monday was Asa E. Smith of the Church of Latter Day Saints.
