WILLIAM C. "BILL" BAKER, Lorimor

Services for William C. "Bill" Baker, 79, rural Lorimor, who died Oct. 11, 1988, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, were held Friday, Oct. 14, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. David Bauer officiating. Burial was at the Peru Cemetery.

Born in Corning on July 7, 1909, he was the son of George and Ellen Baker. A farmer, Mr. Baker was a resident of the area for 43 years and was a member of Royal Neighbors of America.

On Dec. 15, 1937, he was married to Hazel B. Emerson in Missouri.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Floyd Baker of Norwalk and a sister, Lucille Baker of Booneville.

Preceding him in death were his parents, four brothers and a sister.
