Services for Clyde F. Peterson, 62, Winterset, who died Dec. 7, 1986, at the Madison County Memorial Hospital, were held Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clarence Lautt officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
Born in Madison County on Aug. 14, 1924, he was the son of Clarence and Olga Berry Peterson. On April 4, 1948, he married Helen Braman in rural Winterset.
A retired contractor and partner of C. and L. Construction of Winterset, he was a lifetme resident of Madison County and was an Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Connie Drake and Rita McDonald, both of Winterset; a brother, Clark Peterson of Winterset; sisters, Clara Post of Des Moines and Clella Cade of Winterset; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
