BETTY VIRGINIA BRAMAN, Winterset

Funeral services were held for Betty Virginia Braman, 74, at the First United Methodist Church in Winterset on Wed. Oct. 17 with the Rev. Clarence Lautt officiating. She died October 14, 1990, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinic in Iowa City.

A lifetime resident of Madison County, she was born to Michael LeRoy and Marche Druscilla (Coakley) Rogers on May 22, 1915. She married Dale Braman in 1936. A graduate of Macksburg High School, Mrs. Braman was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Pythian Sisters Lodge and numerous other community organizations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and four sisters.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Braman of Kansas City, Mo. and Jack Braman of Aurora, Co.; a sister Wilma Naumann of Houston, Tex.; and four grandchildren.

Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
