Funeral services for Worth Ramsey, 97, will be held Thurs., Jan 24 at 1:30 p.m. at Steen Funeral Home, Greenfield, with the Rev. Hubert Dahl officiating. Ramsey died January 24 at his rural Winterset residence.

A lifelong Madison County resident, he was born August 14, 1893 to Dr. Rufus and Donna (Ulery) Ramsey. He married Jewell Addy on March 26, 1926. He lived on a farm all his life, and had operated the Stanzel Gas Station and Garage since the 1950's. Worth was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Winterset American Legion and a member of the Webster United Methodist Church in Stanzel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, two brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his son, Hugh, of rural Winterset and other relatives.

Burial will be at Robert Cemetery.
