Thursday, November 2, 1899Benjamin Lawrence Moore of Lincoln township died at his mother's residence, Oct. 26, 1899. His funeral services was conducted by Rev. Follansbee at the Christian church last Friday afternoon. He was highly esteemed by all his acquaintances, as evidenced by the large congregation attending his funeral.
He was forty years of age, and had been in declining health for several years.

Benjamin Laurence Moore died at the residence of his mother in Lincoln township, October 26, 1899. He was born upon the same farm where he died, forty years ago last August. For several years he has been an invalid yet was able to attend to business and have oversight of the farm affairs. Two weeks previous to his death he was stricken down and confined to his room. His friends include all his large circle of acquaintances.
The funeral was held at the Christian church on Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Follansbee. A large congregation assembled to pay respect to one so highly esteemed by all who knew him.
