Death Occurs at Home of Son Here at Age of 67 Years
Mack V. Hildebrand, a life-time resident of Madison county, died Sunday, Dec. 1, at the home of his son, Norman Hildebrand. He was 67 years of age.
Mr. Hildebrand was born in this county, Dec. 9, 1895, a son of Scott and Eldora Barrows Hildebrand. His active life was spent in farming, but he had been retired in recent years.
He was a member of the First Baptist church of Winterset.
Mr. Hildebrand was married April 3, 1915, to Nola Huss of Winterset. She survives him. He also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Beth Sankey of Winterset; and two sons, Neil Hildebrand of Martensdale and Norman Hildebrand of Winterset; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, Oscar, Hugh and Rhyno Hildebrand, all of Winterset; and two sisters, Mrs. Roy Ford and Mrs. Charlie Allen of Winterset.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the First Baptist church in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. Glynn Ensor of Creston. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
