Mrs. Rachel Hammond died on the 22d inst, at the home of her niece, Mrs. Fred Beeler, of Walnut township, in her 78th year. Her body was taken to Ohio for burial. An obituary notice without signature, has been received, which will be published if the writer will send his name.
