Attempted Suicide

Miss Amy Harris, who had been a missionary in India for eight years, and who was on a visit to her father, Henry Harris, near Winterset, attempted suicide by cutting her throat with a hand saw. While Miss Harris was in Burmah her mother died, and for the past year or two she had been in poor health. There is a small chance for her recovery.
