H. C. Wright, Grand River twp., farmer, Sec. 15; P.O. Macksburg; born in North Carolina in 1838; his father emigrated to Indiana in 1840, and came to this county in 1854, and has lived on the same farm since that time; owns forty-nine acres of land; he enlisted in the Fourth Iowa infantry and re-enlisted as a veteran; married Miss Clairssa A. Hasty in August, 1873; she was born in Iowa; has three children: Morris E., Cynthia C. and Verlin C.
