Lovina C. Travis (Mrs.), Walnut twp., farmer, Sec. 9; P.O. Peru; widow of Martin B. Travis, who was born in Indiana county, Pennsylvania, November 1, 1816; they were married January 26, 1847; her maiden name was Beyer; she was born in Huntingdon county, Pennsylvania; they came to this county in 1855; he died April 1, 1879, and left a family of five sons and three daughters: Sylvester N., Mary E., William M., Lovina C., Thomas H., Clark C. and Eva M.; owns 160 acres of land.
