Patrick Swift, Crawford twp., farmer, Sec. 13; P.O. Bevington; born in the west of Ireland, and emigrated to Boston in the year 1848, and lived there about six months, and came to New York, where he lived about six years, and then removed to Canada, and remained there till 1856, when he came to this county; he was married to Miss Bridget Gill, in the state of New York, in the year 1852, a native of Ireland; he owns a farm of 320 acres of land; has a family of four sons and one daughter: John J., James L., Michael, Margaret and Edward.
