John M. Stewart, Jackson twp., farmer, Sec. 13; P.O. Winterset; born in Trumbull county, Ohio, November 23, 1819, and came to this county in July, 1874; owns 200 acres of land; has held school offices; he married Miss Lucy F. Andrews in 1841; she was born in the same county; has five children: Elizabeth H., Frank M., Charles C., Curtis B. and Joel H.
