Nicholas Schoenenberger, Walnut twp., farmer, Sec. 7; P.O. Winterset; born in Germany, May 5, 1818; emigrated to the United States with his parents when he was ten years old; they came to this county in May, 1855; he married Miss Louisa Tinnis in April, 1850; she is a native of Prussia; she came to America when about eight years of age; they have five sons and five daughters: John, Anthony, Mary, Lanie, Louisa, Frank, Henry, Christina, Theresa and Edward; owns 360 acres of land.
