Wm. Schmidt, Penn twp., farmer, Sec. 30; P.O. Dexter; owns 80 acres of land; born in Holmes county, Ohio, in 1832; married in 1859 to Lydia Bean, of Ohio; has eleven children living: Joseph, Maud, George, Henry, Edward, Ferdinand, Fraud, Harvey, William, Mary and Ida; Mr. S. has a nice farm, whose improvements he has made himself.
