James McMichael, Crawford twp., farmer, Sec. 24; P.O. Bevington; born in Ayrshire, Scotland, in the year 1809, and emigrated to Ireland in 1825, and lived there till 1866, when he came to Pennsylvania, and lived for one year, and from there to this county and settled where he now lives; he married Miss Ann Hinnan in Ireland, and his a family of seven children living: Sarah, John, James, Ann, Thomas, Eliza and Mary; in 1865 he married a second time to Elizabeth Scollan, but have no children; has a farm of 160 acres.
