Lewis Mease, Walnut twp., farmer, Sec. 24; P. O. Ohio; born in Center county, Pennsylvania, March 21, 1821; he went to Illinois in 1856 and spent the winter, and came here the following spring and located about one mile northwest of where he now lives; has lived on his present farm since 1865; he married Miss Mary A. Rockey September 28, 1850; she is a native of the same county; they have two sons and two daughters: Agnes, Cyrus J., Martin C. and Beatrice; farm of ninety-five acres.
