A. W. Lorimor, Lincoln twp., farmer and wool-grower, Sec. 23; P.O. Winterset; born in Washington county, Pa. in 1828, and resided there until 1837, when with his parents he moved to Ohio and lived there until he came to this State, in 1856; owns 326 acres of land, well improved; he owns 125 acres near Des Moines, 100 acres being within the corporate limits; since coming to this county he has devoted a great deal of his attention and means to raising sheep, and he with his brothers have been the largest operators in the county in this line; he married Martha J. Reasoner in 1862; she was born in Muskingum county, Ohio; their family consists of seven children: Minnie E., Emma E., Alva A., Howard R., Angia A., Arthur G. and Lee.
