W. O. Lee, Grand River twp., insurance agent, Macksburg; was born in New York in 1836, and came to this county in 1855 and was engaged in teaching; he owns 240 acres of land; he enlisted in the First Iowa Cavalry during the war and served three years, and was with the regiment in all of its engagements; he has held various township; offices; he married Miss Angeline Barker in 1860; she was a native of Indiana; their family consists of five children: Clarence, Charles, Vinnie, Rosa and Theodore.
