Henry C. Leaseman, Monroe twp., farmer, Sec. 23; P.O. Winterset; was born in Hanover, Germany, in 1839; he emigrated to America in 1857, and settled in Menard county, Illinois, and remained there until he came to this county in 1865; he owns 350 acres of land; he married Miss Mary Broderick in 1870; she was born in Illinois; they have five children: Charles Ilot, Mary A., Jennie L., Elmer E. and an infant.
