H. W. Laizure, Douglas twp., farmer, Sec. 28; P.O. Winterset; born in Harrison county, Ohio in 1829; he came to this county in 1852; he married Miss Nancy E. Lowe in 1868; she was born in North Carolina; has four children: William B., Hiram M., Kate L. and James T.
