James Hull, Ohio twp., farmer, Sec. 16; P.O. St. Charles; born in Wayne county, Ohio, in 1829; was raised there; came to Van Buren county, Iowa, in 1855, and to this county in 1857; he married Miss Jane Holmes June 17, 1855, a native of Tuscarawas county, Ohio; they have three sons and one daughter: Alfred N., John D., Wm. L. and Gertrude; owns a farm of 285 acres.
