Mrs. Sarah Huffman, Webster twp., farmer, Sec. 6; P.O. Middle River; born in Washington county, Pennsylvania; in 1865 she married Cyrus T. Huffman, who was born in Washington county, Pennsylvania, in 1839; he enlisted in the Twenty-second Pennsylvania cavalry in the late war and served through the rebellion; after his return from the army, and a short residence in his native State, he removed to Licking county, Ohio, and lived there for seven years, and came to this county in 1875; he owned 232 acres of land; he died February 2, 1878; leaving three children
surviving: Rena, Frank and Maggie; lost one son: John.
