John W. Graham, Winterset, real estate loan agent and abstracter; born in Delaware county, New York, in 1835; he came to this county in 1856; owns 160 acres of land; he has held the offices of assessor and county recorder; he enlisted in the 1st Iowa Cav. in the late war and served three years and three months; he married Miss Mary A. Gould in 1869; she was born in Ohio; has two children: Mary and Clarence.
