Member of Board of Parole, was born in Walnut township, Madison county, Iowa, August 1, 1889. Attended the rural schools and graduated from Winterset high school. Graduated from State University of Iowa in 1914. For fifteen years he has been associated with his father, J. E. Hamilton, in the real estate and farm loan business. During the past ten years has been actively engaged in farming. World War, 15th Detachment, A.S.A., delegate in 1924 to American Legion National Convention at St. Paul and democratic national convention at New York. Democrat in politics. Appointed to the board of parole June 16, 1924, by Governor N.E. Kendall to fill the unexpired term of J.R. Murphy, which expires July 1, 1929.
