John Fox, Winterset, ticket agent; born in Stevenson county, Illinois, October 9, 1846; he came to this State in 1868; he enlisted in the 8th Illinois Cav. During the late was, and served three years; he has been in the employ of the R. I. & P. R.R., and on this division of the road eleven years; he married Miss S. Taylor, October 5, 1871; she was born in Montgomery county, Maryland; has three children: Elizabeth F., Margaret R. and Eugene E.
