page 534A. R. Dabney is a Winterset attorney, born in Vermillion county, Illinois in 1846. He came to this State in 1856 and to this county in 1857. He enlisted in the 15th Iowa Inf. during the late war and served until the regiment was mustered out. He was educated at Winterset and Des Moines, and admitted to the bar in 1872. He married Miss Pauline Holliday in 1877; she was born in Polk county, Iowa. They have one daughter: Cora B.
