M. W. Cooper, Winterset; hotel keeper; born in New York in 1830; came to this State in 1859, and to this county in 1864; he married Miss Fannie M. Scott in 1850; she was born in New York; has four children: Robert, William, Elmer, Carrie. Mr. Cooper is proprietor of the Farmers’ House, and has been connected with it as such for three and a-half years.
