E. F. Connoran, Winterset; dealer in groceries and provisions; born in Indiana in 1844, and came to this county in 1856; he enlisted in the 39th Iowa Infantry in the late war, and served until the regiment was mustered out; he served as a member of the city council; he married Miss Irene Young in 1869; she was born in Ohio; have two children: Clifton and Daca.
