G. T. Clements, Madison twp., farmer, Sec. 31; P.O. Earlham; owns 160 acres of land; Mr. Clements is a native of Kentucky, where he was born in 1832; at an early age he came to Henderson county, Illinois, from which place he came directly to Madison county; he married in 1858 to Miss Nancy Milligan, of Henderson county,
Illinois; has six children living: Emma, Chalmers, Grant, Elizabeth, James and Frank; he has by industry and good management paid for a good home; is a member of the U.P. church.
