George Cassidy, Winterset; of the firm of Holliday & Cassidy, grocers and provisions dealers; born in Zanesville, Ohio in 1852, and came to this county with his parents in 1864; previous to engaging in his present business, he was engaged in the railway mail service, and also assistant postmaster; he married Miss Alice A. Parker in 1877; she was born in Knox county, Ohio; has one daughter: Eva.
