Caleb Carver, Ohio twp.; farmer, Sec. 30; P.O. Ohio; was born in Lee county, Iowa, February 17, 1840; his parents removed to Cass county, Illinois when he was about six months old; he was raised there; he came to this county in September, 1864; has lived on his present farm since 1866; owns 170 acres of land; he married Miss Nancy E. Boicourt, November 22, 1860; she was born in Cass county, Illinois; has four sons and two daughters: Annie May, Wm. F., Simon C., Mary O., Newton and Martin L.
