Isaac Bird, Walnut twp.; farmer, Sec. 9; P. O. Peru; born in Virginia, July 15, 1808; married Miss Susannah Williams in 1829, a native of Licking county, Ohio; they came to this county in 1851; he entered 159 acres of land from the government; his wife died July 15, 1870; has a family of two sons and five daughters: Sarah A., Caroline, Anderson, Mary E., Eliza L., Thomas and Rebecca D.
