Herman R. Siebrands was born on October 16, 1923, and died on June 2, 1971, at the age of 47 years, 7 months and 16 days.

Funeral services were held on Monday, June 7, 1971 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in George, Iowa, Rev. J. Kronlokken officiated. Military rites were conducted by the American Legion Post 404 of George, Iowa.

He was survived by his wife, Lucy; a step-son, Fred Pitsenberg; a step-grandson, one brother, Pete Doon; two sisters, Alvina (Mrs. Alfred Hansman), of George, and Caroline (Mrs. Ben Dreesen) of Little Rock.
