Funeral services for Mrs. Alvina Hansmann, 77, of George, Iowa, will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in George. Pastor Stanley Hansen will officiate with interment in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery.

She died on Monday, January 11, 1988 at the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley.

Alvina Siebrands was born September 26, 1910 at rural George. She was a lifelong resident of the George area. She married Alfred Hansmann on March 6, 1929. They farmed north of George until moving to town in 1956.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Ted (LaVonne) Molitor of SIbley; one daughter-in-law, Joan Hansmann of George; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; one brother, Peter Seebrands of Doon, and one sister, Mrs. Ben (Caroline) Dreesen of Little Rock.
