C. V. RENSHAW DEAD

Fall From Building at Inwood
Proved Fatal

Special to Times Republican
Inwood, Jan. 11-C. V. Renshaw, who was severely injured Saturday morning by falling from a building on which he was working, causing a fracture of the skull, died at his home three miles south of Inwood that afternoon at 5 o’clock.

Mrs. Renshaw, who had the day previously gone Woonsocket, S. D., to visit relatives, was immediately notified and chartered a special train at Michell, arriving over the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul railroad three hours after her husband’s death.

Mr. Renshaw was one of the oldest and most prominent settlors in Lyon and Sioux Counties, and was considered one of the most successful farmers in northwestern Iowa. At the Lyon County fairs Institute, which was held at Inwood last December, he was elected a member of the executive committee.
