GEORGE—Funeral services for Michelle Blum, 9, were held Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 10:30 a.m. in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Boyden. The Rev. William Lewis officiated with burial in the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, George.

She passed away Sept. 16, 1984, at her home. The Vogelaar-Bolin Funeral Home, George, Iowa, was in charge of the arrangements.

The daughter of Glenn and Carol Blum, she was born July 17, 1975, in Sibley. She was in the third grade at the George Community School.

She is survived by her mother, Carol, of George; and grandparents, Laura Blum and Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Akkerman, Rock Rapids.
