Vera Mulder, 85, of Little Rock died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, at Merrill Pioneer Community Hospital, Rock Rapids.

Services were Wednesday, Nov. 10, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, George, with interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Little Rock.

Vera DeBerg was born May 23, 1919, northwest of Little Rock, the daughter of Helmer and Helen (Kruger) DeBerg. After attending country school, she worked for area families.

On Oct. 2, 1940, she married John Mulder. They lived in the Sibley and Little Rock area. She did some babysitting in and out of their home and worked at Campbell's Soup in Worthington, Minn., several years. In 1998, they moved to Little Rock.

Her husband died Feb. 23, 2001. She continued to live in Little Rock.

At Tabernacle Baptist Church, she was a member of women's Missionary Fellowship and attended Wednesday morning Bible Study.

Survivors include one son, Harris of Rock Rapids; two daughters, Mrs. Wendell (Sharon) Kampman of Forest City and Mrs. Kirk (Barb) Peters of Little Rock; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and four sisters, Ora Fischer of George, Arlene Arends and Mrs. Louis (Joanne) Vust, both of Little Rock, and Mrs. Marvan (Phyllis) Vanden Brink of Boyden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Dennis and Robert, and four brothers, Alvin, Jim, Johnnie and Leo.
