Rita was known for her gentle spirit and servant's heart. Her teaching career, which spanned decades, began in Papillion, NE and also included service in Rock Valley, IA, Canton, SD, and finally at West Lyon School in Inwood. Over the years, she was an active member and leader in the WLEA, Altar Society, Catholic Daughters, and Delta Kappa Gamma.

Of all of her roles in life- wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend- none made her shine brighter than grandmother. Along with a limitless supply of hugs, smiles, and kind words, Grandma Rita's stash of fruit snacks and Bomb Pops was legendary!

Grateful for having shared life with Rita are her husband, Jim Bosler of Inwood, IA; two sons, Tim (Kara) Bosler of Belton, MO and Bill (Annie) Bosler of Sioux Falls, SD; seven grandchildren, Leah, Bo, CJ, Fletcher, Jacob, Grier, and Bristol; siblings, Steve (Colleen) Shadle, Jean (Jim) Kamrath, Marcia (Larry) Cusic, John (Nancy) Shadle, and Mary (John) Armour; sister-in-law, Sharon Bosler; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers-in-law, Ken Bosler and Wayne Bosler; and sister-in-law, Janice Bosler.
