Julie Extine – November 3, 1957 – June 16, 2015

Sioux Falls, SD: Julie Extine, 57, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, formerly of Inwood, Iowa, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at her residence. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Inwood Porter Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Richland Cemetery. Julie was born November 3, 1957 in Long Beach, California to Eileen (Kock) Extine. She graduated from the West Lyon High School. Julie would then make her home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where she worked for the City of Sioux Falls and John Morrell. Julie was also gifted in working with the elderly at the Good Samaritan Society in Canton, South Dakota.

Julie is survived by her mother, Eileen Veenis; step-siblings, Karyn Veenis of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Jeanne Veenis of Papillion, Nebraska, Gerry (Vickie) Veenis of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Nancy Veenis of Arkansas; uncle, Ralph (Jean) Kock of Inwood, Iowa; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Gerrit Veenis; uncle, Ray (Jackie) Kock; aunt, Elvira (Leo) Johnson; and step-sister, Barbara Vennis.
