Leander Kruger, 75, of George died Friday, July 2, 2004, at Rock Rapids Health Centre.

Services were Wednesday at Central Baptist Church, George, with interment in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Kruger was born Oct. 27, 1928, the son of George and Anna (Kruger) Kruger. He grew up near George and graduated from George High School in 1946. He farmed the family farm northeast of George. He became a resident of Rock Rapids Health Centre April 12, 2004.

Survivors include one brother, Alfred of George, and his twin sister, Leanna DeBoer of Sibley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Irvin and Warren.
