RANDY ROSS 48 LUVERNE, MINNESOTA, OCTOBER 23, 2003

Randy Ross 48, of Rock Rapids died Thursday, October 23, 2003, at Luverne Minnesota community Hospital after a sudden illness.

Services were Monday at First Reformed Church, Rock Rapids, with interment in Riverview Cemetery.

Mr. Ross was born January 28, 1955, in Rock Rapids, the son of Hugo and Isobel (Nagel) Ross. He grew up in Rock Rapids and graduated from Central Lyon High School in 1973. He worked at DeWild, Grant, Reckert & Associates Co. one year, then began working at Larry’s Super Valu grocery store. He also worked for a while at HyVee Food Store in Rock Rapids. For the past 10 years, he was a health care equipment site coordinator for Family Drug, now Sioux Valley Home Health Care.

On March 19, 1977, he married Betty Juffer in Rock Rapids.

At First Reformed Church, he was a Sunday School teacher. He was a Boy Scout leader and a member of Jaycees and Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Ryan of Marshall, Minnesota; two daughters, Kristy of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Kayla at home; his mother of Rock Rapids and one sister, Mrs. Dick (Barb) Sprock of Rock Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his father and two infant brothers, Gregory and Barry.
